"it is not yet finalized that bangladesh is hosting the tournament. Dates are final."
Philippines will be in same group as Bangladesh , Myanmar and Palestine if they qualify after winning playoffs against Mongolia.

Palestine vs Bangladesh

Imagine a country like Bangladesh hosting the tourney. Does that mean they have a better stadium out there than what we have in Panaad? Makes you feel tiny..
ReplyDeleteThey have decent stadiums for their national sport cricket which are also convertible into football stadiums. Unfortunately, our number 1 sport requires indoor stadium.
ReplyDeleteazkals hosted group games for challenge cup qualifying in 2008 at the panaad against bhutan, tajikistan and brunei. we can probably host a qualifying group in the next edition, not this one coming up.
ReplyDeleteNo , it was not in Panaad , it was in Iloilo and Barotac Nuevo. All matches were played 3.30 pm.

ReplyDeletesorry, you are right. panaad hosted SEA games. azkals fever would've started if they qualified at those games at baratoc. but group winner is the only one who qualifies, and tajikistan were ranked higher. we drew them 0-0 though. but it wasn't enough.
