UFL - Global guns for fourth victory, faces Navy

Global Smartmatic aims to sustain its amazing run in the United
Football League when it battles winless Navy Sunday at the University of Makati pitch.

Global will be looking for its fourth straight victory in the 1 p.m.
clash against Navy in the first game of a three-match bill at UMak.

Green Archers Orient Freight, still on a high after its 2-0 conquest
of Loyola Meralco Sparks, faces defending champion Air Force Rider at 3 p.m.

Loyola-Meralco, with four points from five matches, tries to bounce
back against Kaya-Smart in the 4:30 p.m. game.

Kaya skipper Aly Borromeo is expected to be back for his squad along
with Anton Del Rosario, after the duo saw action for the national team
in the AFC Challenge Cup.

Kaya has not seen action for almost a month. They saw their two-game win run ended by Global, 0-3.

Air Force, running fifth with four points, is also hopeful to get the bulk of its squad back from international duty.

Among the Air Force players in the national team that saw action in Myanmar are strikers Ian Araneta and Yanti Barsales and Chieffy Caligdong. Mark Ferrer was also part of the national side in Myanmar.

But the spotlight will be on Global as it tries to underline its
superiority against Navy, the bottom team with just two points from
five matches.

Misagh Bahadoran, Izo El-Habbib and Cusmas will lead the attack line
for Global, which got another boost when it acquired former national
player Robert Canedo during the transfer window.

Kaya also beefed up its roster by tapping another former national player, Anto Gonzales.

Second division action also resumes at the Ascom field in Fort Bonifacio and the Nomads pitch in Paranaque.

Nomads and Stallions try to stay perfect as they take on separate rivals.

Nomads, with Mark Hartmann leading the charge, faces Sunken Garden,
while Stallions battles Union Internacional Manila.

Locked in a tight battle for fourth in the table, Pasargad, with an
even 3-3 card for nine points, clashes with Dolphins.

Lions guns for its second victory against Japan in the last game at 6 p.m. at Nomads.
