    Ayan na naman ang mga TALANKA-CRABS people., on the media exposure na naman...di na nahiya..epal talaga..kung saan nasa excitement and laro ng Philipine Team.. AZKALS eepal na naman sa publicity..alam na nila na nasa highlight na ng laro ang game schedules ng AZKALS... mag papalabas na naman..paulit-ulit ng paulit ulit sa issue...bakit noong unang labas pa lang sa issue di pa binuhos ang lahat ? Ah.., nag tira para naman sasabay sila sa kung saan nan doon din ang AZKALS moment...

    Sigurado ako sa semi-final (hopefully) may ilalabas na naman the same "SAD STORY FAIRY TAIL "

    Look back the Dragon boat team??? may naka alala ba? may sinabay ding issue... pero di nag patalo ang mga national team natin...

      medio. Chieffy isn't 100% yet. makikita sa kanyang mga runs or ang kulang sa mga runs for chances. He'll be back to 100% very soon. only his 2nd game back from an injury. He'll bee back.

    yes, both are suspended for the upcoming match.
    can't imagine that we can compensate both of them as they made a great performance today (especially Angel made his best match I think)....I assess that Turkmenistan is a stronger opponent than Tajikistan.....but no matter how the match ends.....the semifinal is a great success and not many thought they would make it so far.....well done so far....

      If only one game - against Turkmenistan
      But if AZKAL win the match

      They can play again for the final match ?

    Can someone tell me how important is the match this coming Friday, Philippines vs. Turkmenistan? Seems that James and Angel won't be playing on Friday after both players claimed their second yellow cards.

      Correct me if I'm but since Philippines and DPR Korea (two teams from group B) has advanced to the semifinals, they will be going against the two teams from group A that has advanced as well.
      Turkmenistan is from group A and will be fighting Philippines. Likewise, Palestine from group A and DPR Korea will also be against each other. The two winners from both matches will be heading on for the finals.
      If Philippines doesn't beat Turkmenistan, that is the end for their AFC campaign. But if Philippines beats Turkmenistan, well, they are moving to the finals, which I predict they will face DPR Korea once again. If that happens, I don't want to be a pooper, but I think DPR Korea will have the AFC Cup title in the bag.

      A win against Turkmenistan will send the Philippines to the Finals against the winner of North Korea-Palestine semifinals game. If the Philippines lose, Philippines will play the loser of the North Korea-Palestine match for the third place. The top 3 finishers will have an automatic entry to the 2014 Challenge Cup and a berth to be among the developing associations. The champion in the 2012 and 2014 Challenge Cup will have an automatic slot for the 2015 AFC Cup to be held in Australia.

      NoKor is gonna win this unless some miracle happens, and allegedly they won't participate in the Challenge Cup anymore after this, then well, there will be formidable enemy in 2014 edition which also provides a slot to 2015 AFC Cup. And if PH hosts the event as Palami plans now, we will definitely be the top contender.

      So, i don't think we desperately need to win this time. Of course it'd be awesome to win Turkmenistan and even NoKor, but no reason to be hugely disappointed even if not.

    Now we are in the semi-final is there any possibility that the Philippines can host the the AFC CHALLENGE CUP 2014?

    What about our FIFA Ranking after all those AFC CC 2012 previous games ?

    Recently, The Philippines is higher rank compare to the next opponent Turministan..

    Hope we will win the game this coming friday...

      Dan Palmai is officially going for it, and technically, if Nepal can host it, why not?

      As for the FIFA ranking, after 3 games our ranking point went up to 176 from 136, but it can still go up to 220 or slightly go down to 160 depending on the results of the remaining two matches. Never can say our exact ranking till the next month ranking is released, but i'm pretty sure it's gonna be higher than our peak so far, #149 at Dec 2010.

    With 10 million of our people based abroad and with most of them having multi-racial families. clavios comment about being “true” Filipinos” is utterly insulting to every one of them. And is the use of the word “kayumanggi” a criteria of being Filipino? Ten percent of our population has either Chinese roots or is in fact Chinese, doesn’t he consider them Filipinos? Our nation is cosmopolitan meaning multi-cultural and multi-ethnic. Arnold clavios statement should be censured by GMA especially his insinuations on the alleged sexual escapades of these players are not only demeaning but downright malicious.
    To simply reprimand this person who claims to be a journalist may not be enough. He should not only be suspended by his employers but banned. Unlike Moy’s and Guirado’s statement which may be a case of hearsay. This person uttered these words on air with hundreds of witnesses. Racism is not a subject that is to be treated lightly. And it should never be tolerated. If he claims that a mere apology by the azkals would not be enough to remedy their actions, neither should his’!
