Hiroshi, SRFC stay on top of brackets

DEFENDING champion Hiroshi FC and San Roque Football Club remain leaders of their brackets after the third day of the men’s open of the 12th Interclub Football Cup yesterday at USC-TC field.
SRFC is still undefeated after winning their third straight match. It defeated Southwestern University, 2-1,yesterday to top Bracket B. It defeated Don Bosco United in the opening day, 3-1, and survived runner-up Queen City United, 1-0.

Both attempts were made by Epifaño Ynot, who created the play and was left free to take the shot that found the back of the net.
Ynot was also the main scorer of yesterday’s game against QCU.
The match between QCU and DBU FC resulted to a 4-4 draw and both teams now have one draw and one loss record.
In another match, Hiroshi edged out Camella FC, 3-2, to stamp its second win of the tournament. It tops Bracket A with two wins and one loss.
