  9. Phil is our best striker, no doubt (one of the best in Asia). Stop with all the nonsense and get this squad together from this point on forward. Wolf is decent and tandem with Phil is a must to create good chemistry between the two on the pitch. This is a good development for PH footie. Azkals are improving no doubt... best of wishes...

    1. Yup, Phil is our best striker, hands down! However, he's not one of the best in Asia!

    2. I supposed he got carried away. it's all good for Philippine football...

  10. agree with darren hartmann...sub should have made @ right wing at 75th to add more speed. too bad it's not jhy, we could have had a potent attack at that side with jyh teaming up with his brother! damn the 1st half! we didn't have a decent counter until phy enter the game. marwin and chieffy are not on the level of the competition. good thing they were sub-off early

    1. agreed. i'd even go as far to say two players should have been brought on at the point... christiaens & omphroy/bahadoran to replace wolf & reichelt. it would've given us more pace, fresh legs, and angel playing through the middle than out wide. but oh well.....

you're also right about caligdong. he's so overrated and has been for a long time now, its untrue!!!! as for marwin, i can see the player that he is and therefore understand why weiss likes him but he lacks experience big time and it's a shock why he keeps starting!!

    2. I think it is because Angeles has high potential and so Weiss probably is trying to make him reach that as soon as possible by giving him lots of minutes. As for Angel G., it's kind of tricky because he can create play out wide due to his ball skills, but at the same time he's got the height and a good target up in the middle. He was effective before playing out wide though. Idk, JYH and AGuirado out wide are effective but you kinda lose that height too up it the mid as target from crosses. a bit tricky...

As for Chieffy, I think he's a decent player but like other players that also depends on the match up. There are matches that definitely he can be very effective, and there are matches that he will be clearly outclassed. But it's good that we have a much deeper bench now though.

  11. the point is what weiss is trying to train them as a team, there cohesion is prioritized. weiss is trying to duplicate what 2010 line-up did. that team is trained together for a month or two together. his trying to build a youth team and besides this is a friendly match.....at sana ang mga coaching staff nagbubuild-up na rin local youth members.....for the players like caligdong if he plays good no one noticed it however if the team lost well pointing finger again to him kayo na lang kaya maglaro.....for marwin what can i say he is still young good experience for him, more exposure and deep tactical training......

    1. "however if the team lost well pointing finger again to him kayo na lang kaya maglaro"

Why the fuck do so many of you people always use that as a counter argument whenever a player is criticized?!? "kayo na lang maglaro" or anything else in that line of thinking. If a coach or manager gets criticized, the same shit is said, "kayo na lang mag coach". Fucking pathetic of the highest order!!!

    2. eh bakit, kung magusap kasi akala magaling. grabeh bro, ang strong mo hahahaha

    3. bat kapag sinasabihan kayo na 'kayo na lang maglaro' puro kayo mura hahaha

  12. 2-1? Not a bad score considering Azkals were playing a world rated team. I'd also suggest to the previous writer to calm down. Your type of language and temper can start World War 3. After all its just a football game or am I missing something?

who is now more pathetic you or the counter argument.....using harsh word....sabagay kanu ka pala....why using that word simple, read all the comments from the past up to now.....you can criticized a person if you are a footballer, coach or atleast have a higher knowledge in football (not just a chair general). ngayon sa pagmumura mo at sa mga pagpipilian saan ka???such an imbecile person, to the highest level...

    1. The pathetic thing is you and the people like you!!

Harsh word?!? Hah! You say harsh, I say fitting because of the level of idiocy of the comment, "ikaw na lang kaya mag laro".

"you can criticized a person if you are a footballer, coach or atleast have a higher knowledge in football"

So what you're saying is that us fans have no right to criticize. We all basically have to be a bunch of goody-two-shoes that has to say yes to everything, agree to everything and smile back and clap like everything is all cute... that's what you're saying... that's pathetic and idiotic to say the least!!! There's just no logic in that whatsoever!! Clearly it's you who's the complete imbecile and moron around here!!

    2. you can criticize alright but magmura, shame sa magulang mo wala kang pinag-aralan..

      Delete
    3. Nah, I think any one of right age, which I think he is, is responsible for his actions and so shame is also solely on that person and not the parents. :) in short, shame on him. Lol. Viva Philippine football!!!

    4. Children, watch your language and your temper. It takes the fun away from this most beautiful game. Like what a previous post said, "It's just a football game."

      Oh I'm sorry I didn't realize you were a big goody-two-shoes!!

  14. Weiss never learns does he? He keeps playing a high backline and that never works for a world class team like Kuwait. All it takes is a nice through ball and a well timed run. How many times did they do that to us last night?

Also his penchant for putting players in positions they are not accustomed to. This is not the Under 15s for crying out loud!

  15. i think the coach knows what hes doing. the national team is improving whether u like or not

hahahaha clearly your a fan of FIFA games...not a football sport fan, you love to criticize people but even you do not know how to play game so who's pathetic....and im not only one who reacted to your comment, it show that how immature and irresponsible you are.....

    go azkals....

  17. and sometimes the funny thing is people who criticize hard to a player are those people who do not know football as a sport. feeling napakatalino na sa lahat ng bagay pero sa actual na buhay isa rin pa lang palamunin....pity to those people...too much knowledge na wala sa lugar is a dangerous thing hehehehehe with this kaya nga ang cybercrime law ginawa eh ang daming matalino sa pilipinas....

be happy guys the football program is on the right track sana dagdagan ng mga local youth para lalong tumibay ay programa....
