Crocodile FC bags 4 titles; 3 Davao teams also shine

THE Davao Crocodile Football Club (DCFC) swept four titles at the close 
of the 10th Del Monte Football Cup 2014 at the Camp Phillips Football Grounds
 in Bukidnon recently.
DCFC bagged the titles in the players seven, players eight, players 10 
and players 11 categories.
DCFC topped the players seven category followed by Celestial FC and
 Hyenas FC of Davaothat placed second and third, respectively. It also 
bested the Football Association of South Cotabato Football Club and 
Higala FC of Cagayan de Oro City for the players eight crown while
 DCFC prevailed over Celestial FC and Centro Manolo FC of 
Bukidnon in players 10.
DCFC also ruled the players 11 event at the expense of Higala FC and
 Ateneo de Davao University (AdDU) FC.
Other Davao City teams also annexed titles in their respective divisions.

The Mintal Interage FC governed the boys 15 over Celestial FC and

 Black Knights  FC Davao while the Ateneo Lady Knights FC bagged the
 girls 17 crown beating Maramag FC and Celestial FC that took the next 
two spots.
The University of the Philippines Mindanao FC also shared the limelight
 by winning the women's open title while Ateneo Lady Knights and
 Xavier University FC of Cagayan de Oro wounded up in the next two places.
Other winners were Fasco FC (players-nine), Celestial FC (boys 17), 
VAV FC (boys 14), VAV FC-Team A (boys 13) and Spears FC-Team A of 
Luzon (boys 12).
All winners received medals and trophies from the event organized by 
the Bukidnon Football Association (BUFA).
The 10th Del Monte Football Cup is an annual tournament that aims to
 instill the ideals of teamwork, camaraderie, discipline and 
sportsmanship to the young generation.
