  2. I wander why the likes of Harvee Gayoso, who won the Man U Clear Challenge and even a boy named Diamante are not in the line up.

    1. maybe his dad former PBA legend and ex brgy gin kings Jayvee Gayoso want him to be part of the next Gilas 5.0

kaya lang mas interesado ang bata sumali sa national pool ng Azkals kaysa mag basketball..

Diamante teammate of Alquiros ng Green Archers.

  3. They prefer money giving parents and players under teh coaches who is also a head coach in a certain school or who plays for his UFL side.

    1. Have you been to the actual tryouts? Have you checked or have you seen these boys play? I agree with you that money politics is sometimes used in tryouts but making a sweeping statement for the u19 boys who made the line up is unfair. Most of the boys tried hard to make it everyday for the tryouts sometimes missing school. Most of them if not all deserves to be in the line up. Maybe its not perfect buy maybe its the best that they can come up to with the available resources.

    2. hey mister, boys are hesitant to participate because of the prevalent culture of politics in our sports like football, notice also in other sport like,basketball,chess,etc....and all forms of PALAKASAN system you will notice if you have microscopic eyes you will see the truth,hahahaha..yes they made the cut,but is this all we had? this kind of system?,if yes, then, pff is a big failure, since, then sports in our country need to overhaul its system, because in the end,all of us will reap what we sow.

  5. I don't know why Javier Gayoso ( just searched his name in google) but I saw him played well (my son one time said you can notice he is distinct) in UFL Youth, RIFA, UAAP, Pinas Cup and Palarong Pambansa, and I really wandered why the U19 coaches did not tap him, and I am sure they have not selected other deserving young football players. It's a pity for the Philippine flag and honor...if it playing for their club, no problem, but not at the expense of the Philippine flag.

  6. Yung sa 1st Clear Camp marami nang standout doon and guess what ? PFF and ABS-CBN partnered that event pero para saan yun?

    1. typical Pinoy culture ang malignant cancer of poor planning.

sisimulan ng maganda tapos mag fold-up papalitan ang nasimulang sistema kaya walang continuity sa sports program.

6 weeks or 1 month cramming before the actual competition.

we can't blame entirely to the PFF dahil inutil talaga ang PSC-POC at ang national government na dapat sumusuporta sa Philippine sports..

nakakasawa na ang gasgas na dahilan na kulang sa budget ang federation at bawat ahensiya ng government.

ang Unitary System or Presidential form of government ng Pilipinas ay always favor NCR and lahat centralize sa Manila kaya we can't bring the best homegrown talents from the provinces.

kaya nauuwi sa all Imperial Manila selection or promdi varsities naka based sa Manila..

tuwing bumubou ang mga national squads mula U23 hanggang U10 kadalasan schools from Manila,NCAA and UAAP bihira yung mga talents na galing sa mga schools from visayas and Mindanao.

kaya delayed din ang progress sa Promotion ng Philippine sports dahil only Big 3 networks from Oligarch NCR ang may cartel sa tv coverage (Abs cbn,TV5 ,GMA 7)..

wala man lang satellite branch ng local networks from visayas and Mindanao para sa production and promotion coverage ng sports sa Pilipinas..

because of centralized government from Manila na humarap sa Amendment ng Charter or 1987 Cory constitution boung bansa nakasandal sa Imperial Republic of NCR.

mahirap umasa na na maging well represented talaga from provinces ang roster ng national football team .

pag may aksindente or malalang sakit ang mga pasyente sa visayas and Mindanao kailangan airlift sa st lukes, asian hospital,Makati Med and PGH sa NCR kasi wala ring ganyang ka dekalidad na mga pagamutan sa probinsiya

  7. international activities will ALWAYS happen within the Philippine school year. no matter how much they scout and train in the summer, when classes come in to picture, the players' schooling and the scheduling + venue of practices will be big issues. not to mention the travel expenses. players of low-income families living far from the assigned venue for training sessions and possible friendlies (like luzon) will automatically decline on even trying out.
the only way i can figure out right now to tackle this issue for big luzon schools to scout the provinces and offer scholarships to promising elementary and highschool athletes.
*i think this is already happening on the collegiate level.
