  2. Caligdong is a joke as a coach and the PFF knows that. Lots of controversies now.

    1. They clearly don't, hence why he's been appointed as head coach! Pathetic!!! Really don't know why the PFF so keen to fast track his coaching career with the national teams. He was an overrated player and now he's an overrated coach!!

  8. After next week, we will know how well our U23 squad performed in the AFC U23 2018 Championship Qualifiers. But, it is obvious at this point, that our young homegrown players needed better coaching than what the PFF can give them. Whomever are the sources of the financial support to the PFF were totally wasting their money. Also consider the fiasco in the last Suzuki Cup. Araneta should be fired, Pres. Duterte. He's an embarrassment to the Philippines.

  10. U15 is a good indicator of how well the PFF is coaching our kids. Kids become serious with soccer at age U12-U13. So it will need only 2-3 yrs. to train them properly. The PFF coaching staff should have an "eye for talent" in selecting the pool of players, NOT cronyism, families with money or political positions. With our youth population, I am assuming the Philippines have a lot of young players to chose from than Timor Este, Brunei, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, etc, etc. In other words the PFF is NOT doing the job, and have NO CLUE on how to teach and train for soccer.
